.cold air moving in behind the departing storm system and partial clearing across northeastern colorado will bring colder temperatures sunday morning. Most locations will have lows in the mid to upper 20s, but some colder places will drop to near 20 degrees. This is most likely in low lying areas near the front range, such as the river valleys of weld county. There will be warmer temperatures over far northeast colorado where readings may drop to around freezing. If you have not already taken action to protect irrigation systems, hoses, and tender vegetation, you should do so this evening. Warmer temperatures are expected for the rest of the week, though it is not certain that this is the last freeze of the winter.
